BOOK SALES

The Friends of the Kensington/Normal Heights Branch Library sponsor a book sale during normal library business hours. Book donation proceeds are matched by the County and deposited in a fund for use by our librarian. The proceeds fund children's programs, book purchases, and equipment purchases for the library.

Book donations and book purchases are tax deductible. A receipt will be provided by our librarian upon request.

The library accepts books and magazines that are in good condition. The library does not accept the following:

Books in poor condition or outdated.
Text Books
Outdated Magazines
Records

We presently have collectible books available priced at 50 percent or less than current market value. They include first editions, autographed copies, and out-of-print books. They are located on the shelves by the copy machine.

Our annual Memorial Day Book Sale will be held on May 27th from 10:00 am to l:00 pm.
